How to play

Slide all tiles in one direction. Adjacent equal numbers merge into their sum. Each effective move adds a new 2 or 4; work toward a 2048 tile.
Controls
Use the arrow keys on a computer or swipe inside the game on a touchscreen. Click the game first if the keyboard does not respond.
Scoring and ending
Merging 4+4 into 8 adds 8 points. Making 2048 shows a win; a full board with no possible merge ends the game.
Practical tips
Keep the largest tile in a corner and arrange large tiles along one edge. Before moving, check how much empty space will remain.
